Basset Utd 1896

This represents the sett formed in 1896 with th amalgamation of Wheal Basset, West Wheal Basset and South Wheal Francis. The land coloured green on this planrepresents only a portion of the land destroyed or partially damagedby mining at the date of the sett hereto annexed. The tramways between west and East Basset stamps and the extension to Marriots shaft from East Basset stamps had yet to be completed.
