Annealing Shed

Foreman Blacksmith Joe Oakes & his striker Warren Embling beside newly annealed detaching hook. Taken late 1950s. At this time several N. Staffs pits sent their cage tackle to Sneyd for annealing, inorder to prevent failure due to work hardening.
