Afon Wen. Ochr Fwsoglog.

Landscape. Afon Wen is the scar on the slope, bottom left, just off centre. Ochr Fwsoglog, with its revetment, is in the ravine of the stream.
Attribution to Richards. 2007.
I now know that Richards's attributions are incorrect.
Afon Wen is the working in the ravine (SH683664) and was for slate (see Hendrecoed DB.)
Ochr Fwsoglog is the working to the right, on the slope and was probably an allied working but for iron or copper.
Note the traces of pathway zig-zaging up the N. slope of Careg y Gath. Edited 25.1.09
