Aerial view of the Gang mines
The surface remains of these important mines are rather disappointing and have been slowly obliterated over the years, particularly recently with the building of two new depots (bottom). The shafts and hillocks are on the hillside, left of centre. Modern Dene Quarry (part of) to the right. Killers Branch of the old High Peak Railway is in the cutting, bottom left
