The three arbors of a normal Cornish engine conform to SEX! - Steam at the top, Equilibrium in the middle and Exhaust at the bottom. This engine is different - the Steam arbor is at the bottom, the Exhaust in the middle and the Equilibrium at the top - i.e. EXS.
