23 May 1977 Marchlyn Quarry Reworked

When the Dinorwig Power Station was constructed about 12 million tons of material was excavated within the mountain and in the deepening of Llyn Peris and Llyn Marchlyn. The Marchlyn Quarry was dramatically altered by this work, shown here at its most obvious.
