1978 - Old shaft works

In this view from the east end of the tips you can see the ruined compressor house and just below the main tip the spoil heap from the inclined shaft - Moses kellow insisted that there were £50,000 of industrial diamonds somewher in it, slanting to the right ios the bed of the inclie that was used to counterbalance the shaft sinking gear.
