Final years before closure but some reorganisation by the Coal Board with the common Stock yard and mine tracks. The large Baths (lower ) has a picture on the Durham mining museum listed as 1939 http://www.dmm.org.uk/gallery/n011-002.htm note the large waste heaps top left.
