Wheal Grenville Tin Mine (United Kingdom)


This mine operated from 1820 to 1920 producing copper but mainly tin. A fabulous 90" engine house and 40" whim engine house stand on Fortescues shaft. The stamps engine house lies to the South on the ridge known as the New stamps. It was eventually worked with Grenville Utd.
