West Vitifer (New Vitifer) Tin Mine (United Kingdom)

This area shows three stages of activity. Along the river is evidence of tin streaming. Above the valley is a gulley that possibly epresents 16th century activity (Butler-Dartmoor Atlas of Antiquities). The final activity dates to the years 1850 to 1875, however little was produced. Remains of three buddles can be found, with the course of the launder. The engine shaft is backfilled and there are run in adits.
