Waterloo Colliery near Lydbrook at SO609151 opened 1850 closed 1959.
In 1949 it was flooded by breaching East Slade Pit trapping 5 men. Colliery most productive in early 1900s due to adjacent draining of Cannop Colliery. suffered several spontaneous combustion fires prior to closure.
