Utah And Northern Railway (United States)


The Utah and Northern Railway was a spur of the Union Pacific that finally ran from Ogden, utah, to Butte, Montana arriving first at the latter 26th December 1881. It served the booming copper industry around Butte.

It was intially narrow gauge but switched to standard gauge in 1886.
