Sowden Pit (No.4), New Farnley (Sowden Pit (Pumping Station)) Coal Mine (United Kingdom)


Buildings (all inside walls tiled), headgear and some equipment (manual winch complete with cables to NE of shaft) almost completely preserved with only moderate dereliction until some time around 1970. Site cleared and levelled for private house and agricultural use.
