This is the new home for the refreshed site-http://teammanley.webs.cc />Description below by ICLOKThe workings are situated on the South west slope of Caradon Hill and were in operation from 1837 to 1885 producing some 217,820 Tons of Copper.The workings of this mine were vast, in the East of the sett lies Kittows shaft, which contained a man-engine, the remnants of the structure still exist by the shaft burrow. In the central part lie Holmans shaft and Rules shaft where significant Engine house and tips remain. Until recently a tunnel existed thru the tip but this has now collapsed at one end. In the west of the sett are significant remains at Jopes, Pearces and Engine shaft. The engine house at Jopes being particularly well preserved. The area abounds in remains of buildings, shafts and burrows and also has significant earthworks associated with Liskeard and Caradon Railway.
