Smalley Mill Sough Coal Tunnel (United Kingdom)

Sough driven approximately 3km to drain workings in the Deep Hard (and probably Deep Soft) Coal between its mouth and to the south of Heanor. Dates for the sough at the current time are unknown, although it does appear on an undated Twigg map. Hence the sough is possibly 1700s/1800s.
