Sipton Lead Mine (United Kingdom)


Mine workings on Esp's, Smith's and Four Fathom Veins worked from Sipton Shaft on Blackett Level. The mine was active from about 1865 until 1946, there was a dressing plant on surface where the Sipton ore was concentrated along with that from the nearby St Peter's mine.
