Rishton Gold Mine (Australia)


Originally an old 19th century gold working but also the name given to a 1980s operational site including the Disraeli mine and Joe's Delight mine and a CIP gold treatment plant for ore processing from a number of sites including Far Fanning, Welcome, Blue Gold and Reward mines. Operated by a number of companies from the mid 1980s starting with North Queensland Resources, Ashton Gold/Aurora, SMC Gold and BMA Gold. The mill was finally dismantled in 2008(?) and put up for sale.
