Copper mine in operation 1858 to 1909 approx 1 mile South east of Sticklepath. positioned on the left of the original A30 road to Throwleigh, very little remains of the mine. The shaft was near the surviving chimney on the hillside and the outline of shaft can be seen. Follow the level around the hillside on to the spoil heap to find the mill site. A large waterwheel once operated in the valley below but no trace now exists.
