Penzance (Penzance-Mcilwraith) Copper Mine (Australia)

A group of workings developed on steeply dipping shear zones in limestone and basalt country rock. Early shaft operations gave way to a number of small open-cuts. The mines originally produced oxide and carboante ore with limited amounts of sulphide ore produced later in their life.
