New Biggin Coal Colliery (United Kingdom)


In later years this became a pumping station for Tankersley Collieries.
A small amount of the brick base remains of the pumping arrgt, there is scattered brickwork on the site containing a very interesting selection of local named bricks. The whole area is pitted by years of mining and has a tremendous atmosphere.
