Nantmelin (Severn Water) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)


First recorded activity is by Company of Mine Adventurers in early 1700s but never did much good. A spirited attempt at working was made in 1854 by a London Company, but mining ceased in 1867 with a recoded output of 59 tons of lead ore and 43 of copper.
