For several years the Association of Mining Specialist of Iglesias (sardinia - italy) has been working to reconstruct typical mining enviroments. With the reclamation of tunnels and numerous underground areas for fruition by tourist and student, the restoration and exposition of original machinery, laboratory equipment and scale models used over the years by the student of the Mining School, with many photographs, the association has created the Museum of Mining, an important scientific, human and cultural testimonial , especially of the Iglesias district mine.
