Merrivale (Middle) Tin Blowing House (United Kingdom)

Excellent, isolated blowing house site adjacent the river Walkham in the Merrivale Valley. Site has well perserved wheel pit with overshoot, and mould stone. Note contemporary record of the site can be identified, so one can only conjecture at its period of operation; which would seem to be somewhere between the 16th and 17th centuries.
