Markus Röhling Silver Mine (Germany)


A silver mine from approximately 1500. Cobalt was also mined as a secondary product. The mine closed in 1857 but was reopened between 1948 and 1953 when prospecting for uranium took place.
Part of the underground workings were opened as a show mine in 1994.
