Llanrwst Lead Mine (United Kingdom)

Substantial workings, later included Alltwen workings. Later part of Llanrwst Consols, then Eagle Lead Co..

Several capped & locked shafts including Endeans Shaft, next to the engine house; Doctor's shaft nearby on a small hillock; Air Shaft and Shallow Adit just across the forest track; Footway and Diagonal shafts are in the grounds of the Nant BH outdoor centre.

The underground workings were intercepted by Parc 2 (New Shaft, which gives access to Endean's)

Deep adit adjacent to the road (gated) leads to a collapse after c.250m.
