Lanehead Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)

Was run by Castle Cement, now Hanson Cement, now includes Bold Venture quarry and runs to 300 acres between Chatburn and Clitheroe. The removal of Chatburn Old road allowed it to become so big by joining Bankfield, Bold Venture and lanehead together. Primary use is to feed the cement kiln. Also used as a tip for the hazardous dust from the kiln.
