Jodogne. Flint Mine (Belgium)

Its an multiple quarry. I put them all under the same name, because they all minced in 1930/1940, for flint. The flint was used in the houses. The limestone was crushed and used on the farm field for fertilization. The limestone was of lesser quality and not weather resistant. Now a part of the quarry is used as a mushroom farm. The quarry is below a nature reserve, otherwise she will disappear in the cement mills for sure.
