Holywell Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)

It is believed that this medieval quarry is 130 metres to the north-east of Medwell/Holywell Quarry in a wood marked 'Old Pits' on the OS 6 inch map. Worked from the 14th to the 20th century, the stone from this quarry was used as far afield as Windsor Castle in 1363-8.
