Hole (Whole) Mouth Rake (Soft Rake) Lead Mine (United Kingdom)


Whole Mouth is a short workings towards the outcrop of the Hole (Soft) Rake. The opening is fairly large and 'cave-like', situated alongside the footpath above the river (SK 2091 6394), however has also fallen in slight with rocks blocking entry. The working is believed to extend about 100m (10 meers) from the entrance.
