High Loft (Black Ox) Fluorite Mine (United Kingdom)


High Loft mine is the middle part of the Masson Hill complex of pipe veins (between the Chichman and Carding's Nestus Titles). It was originally worked for lead, but re-worked from the 2nd World War until 1971 for flourspar.
