The grid ref given is for the site of the dressing floors area. Which includes remains of the mine office/shop/store above the floor. Below are the remains of water wheel pit, later replaced by steam engine. There are also foundations of other buildings and features. Nearby are Chargers Level, Dukes Level and Longshaw Level. The smelter was located a little further down the valley at Hole Bottom, very little remains are seen
