Harehope Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)


Old limestone quarry on both sides of Bollihope Burn near Frosterley. Worked the Great Limestone but is now home to a carp farm, environmental classroom and nature reserve. The quarry is also the location of 'Jacobs Well' a cave that has been partly quarried away but still remains accessible.
