Hanji Coal Railway (China)


The Hanji Railway or Handan-Jinan Railway is a railway in the People's Republic of China connecting the cities of Handan in Hebei Province and Jinan in Shandong Province.

The railway has 233 kilometres (145 mi) of single main line and was constructed as a route for transporting coal from central Shanxi Province. The Hanji Railway was designed for a capacity of 20 million tons of goods a year.
