Hafod Y Porth Copper Mine (United Kingdom)

Surface tips and masonry structures. A number of short levels (four obvious adits), the top one with rail in situ. One longer tunnel passing (2) under a couple of shafts which open to the surface.

Not much evidence of any productive extraction, although the second adit from the bottom does meet what appears to be a small stope, perhaps 6 yards in length and 3 yards high.

See Bick, The Old Copper Mines of Snowdonia, for a brief history of the mine including reproductions of old plans and a sale notice.
