Griffiths Copper Mine (Australia)

Small underground and open-pit copper mine worked in the latter years of the 19th Century and early 20th century. There is very little to see today since much of the area was rehabilitated by the Red Dome mine in the mid-1990s. The open-pit remains as does an enigmatic brick foundation which may be a winder base. It does line up with a shaft, now subsiding.
