Gregory's (Gregorys, Lindley) Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)


This was formerly Lindley's Quarry, the largest in the area and known to have been quarried since the 19th century. Red Mansfield stone is no longer available from this quarry, just the white variety. White Mansfield beds were known as 'Upper', 'Middle' and 'Column' .
