Greasy Slack Wood (Greasy Slack Coal Pit) Coal Shaft (United Kingdom)

Greasy Slack Wood is the Meltham Mills end of Honley Wood/Honley Old Wood. Approached from Knowl Lane above the works and below the Nursery. Follow the footpath into the wood and there is a pit there but I did not find it. It could be a drift mine?
Follow the footpath to where it forks. On the right you will find the visible shaft. Follow the top path for few m. and you will find a shaft on the left. Go back to junction and follow the bottom path and on the left you will find another shaft.
If you contiue on the path you will come to the Scrap Iron Yard. Follow down the side of this down to the road. There is another shaft but I was unable to find it.
