Foel-Ganol Copper Trial (United Kingdom)

Small trial working on south side of Foel-ganol. Directly underneath a small path (not marked on map).

Easily identified by the presence of the spoil heap.

Workings consist of a narrow tunnel approximately 40 yards in length. Whilst the entrance is low (approx 3ft headroom), the tunnel opens up to around 2ft6in width and around 5ft headroom.

Evidence of drills being used, but nothing to suggest extraction ever occurred.

A 'geo cache' is located at the end of the tunnel.
