Far Fanning Gold Mine (Australia)

An amalgamation of various old 19th Century workings including the Lancashire Lass. Reworked as an open cut mine by the North Queensland Co in the mid-late 1980s for oxide ore for heap leach treatment on site and then reopened again in about 1996 with the ore carted to Rishton for CIP treatment mostly from open cuts but also from some limited underground drives by SMC Gold.
