Eloise Copper Mine (Australia)


Underground Copper mine discovered by deep driling under Mesozoic cover by BHP in the 1980s, purchased by Amalg in the early 1990s and commenced operation soon thereafter. The mine worked a chalcopyrite rich orebody plunging steeply to the south with workings at a depth in excess of 1 km by 2006. On care and maintenance by the late 2000s.
