Devil's Chapel Iron Mine (United Kingdom)
The area known as "The Devil's Chapel" is an area worked over in (probably) pre Roman times. It is a complex series of deep gouges pits and tunnels collectively known as 'Scowles' by Foresters. The area is highly atmospheric and has been used as film/tv locations in the past.
