Cliff Limestone Quarry (United Kingdom)


Cliff Quarry was main quarry of two connected by the Clay Cross Mineral Co Line 1841-1846. The other quarry being the small Church Quarry.
Cliff Quarry is now in use by the Crich Tramway Museum who use the tramways route as a demo line.
Adjacent to the old quarry Tarmac have a spur quarry still in operation.
