This small 19th century colliery in Swannington is presently being excavated by the Leics Industrial History Society. In 2006, they found the site of a winding engine and boiler. There is a brick laid floor with engine foundations.
A haystack boiler was discovered on site, which is now in the Snibston Discovery Park
