Beresford's (Beeston Grotto) Sandstone Mine (United Kingdom)

Shown on 20th century OS maps as a 'grotto' and locally called 'caves' but originally mined for snadstone and white sand. Gated due to 'public safety concerns' during the 1970's. Would be gated now due to the presence of Lesser Horseshoe Bats.
