Bacon Close Vein ranges from Sideforholme Shaft along the River Bradford southeast to Old Cross Vein, north of Hollow Farm.
The site of the Bacon Close Mines is believed to be the southeastern end of the vein where there are a number of shafts, mounds and hillocks.

Middle Shaft: SK 2183 6386
