Alma (West Pelton) Coal Mine (United Kingdom)


Colliery just to the west of Grange Villa owned by James Joicey until nationalisation. Originally called West Pelton, which included the Twizell Burn Drift and an upcast shaft at Whitehall.
The drift closed 1954 and Alma in 1958.
