Allison Coal Mine (United States)

Once a coal mining camp, the town today claims a small cluster of homes and a few shade trees on a dirt road. Named after Fletcher J. Allison who acquired the property in 1897, he and a partner worked the mine until 1917. The property was then sold to the Diamond Coal Company and it became a company-owned town. It's now a ghost town.
