Aller Mine was a Silver Lead mine in the Teign Valley. Workings were based around Engine Shaft which is 30 Fathoms deep. The site was pumped it is believed by a 40" engine installed in the 1850's? The engine house survives to this day.

TM Note - Also manganese was mined here.
