A trust has been established to carry out an oral history project on this topic. We have been successful in a Lottery bid and we are now looking for a project manager [paid] and volunteers who to work on this neglected aspect of our history.

Maybe too early at this stage, but if you have contact details (website / e mail etc) that anyone who could contribute can use, I can circulate the details around the Imerys (ECC) noticeboards if you need contributions from those who worked in clay quarries many decades ago who have not retired yet.

Is it safe to come out of the bunker yet?
