How many sheets of Kingspan are there?

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

Wheal Jane had several of these, possibly one for each working level. They weren't in use in 1980, I remember them parked up on the surface, in a remote corner. I believe someone was employed to empty and clean these on a "job and finish" basis.

That is very similar to what I remember at Wheal Jane in 1980. I think the Wheal Jane units had a square tank.

I was told a story about one unfortunate user being propelled at speed along the track by a loco. He was obviously not in a position to do anything except hang on to the conveniently placed grab handles.

I'd assumed they were "straining" handles.
